Sara has been a licensed counselor in Ohio since 2012 and has a passion for helping individuals with mental health disorders to improve their quality of life. Sara incorporates a variety of holistic and behavioral psycho-therapeutic approaches into her practice such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy and is known for providing an eclectic approach to treatment. Sara works with adolescents and adults, treating a wide variety of mental health concerns, social difficulties and interpersonal relationship conflict. Sara’s passion, however, is in helping women achieve emotional and social independence through the therapeutic relationship. Sara utilizes a personable, down to-earth and diverse approach to counseling and is experienced in working with multicultural clients, military members and their families, couples and victims of trauma/abuse. Sara received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Kent State University in 2013 and her Master of Education degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University in 2020.

Sarah Briguglio received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Ohio University. As a Deaf professional, she brings a unique perspective to her practice, incorporating American Sign Language (ASL) and ensuring effective communication and inclusivity. Sarah incorporates a variety of holistic and behavioral psychotherapeutic approaches into her practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Sarah’s approach emphasizes the power and autonomy of each client, tailoring her methods to best suit their needs. She works with clients of all ages, particularly women, couples, and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HH) community, providing a safe and supportive environment for LGBTQ+ individuals and those from various cultural backgrounds.
